Associate

Thomas is an Associate at Maverix Private Equity, where he is focused on deal sourcing, analysis, execution, and portfolio company monitoring. 

Before joining Maverix, Thomas was a Senior Associate at MoonPay Ventures, the Corporate Venture Capital arm of MoonPay, a web3 infrastructure company known for raising the largest Series A in history to date (US$555m). At MoonPay Ventures, he led venture investments in web3, managed M&A transactions from execution to integration, and steered strategic internal projects. Thomas began his career in investment banking at FT Partners based out of their UK office where he was involved in a variety of capital markets and M&A transactions for FinTech companies across the EMEA and APAC regions.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University where he graduated with First Class Honors. Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer and discovering new restaurants and bars in Toronto.
